In the first episode, we talk about the topics we will be covering in the next episodes.   <\/p>\n\n<p>One of the topics addressed in today&#8217;s episode is depression. I will also talk about myself and share things that are unfortunately still taboo today and, in my opinion, should definitely be destigmatized. <\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thebrokernews.ch\/en\/my-25-year-journey-in-the-insurance-industry-and-innovation\/\">Mirela<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thebrokernews.ch\/rueckblick-auf-mein-2024-von-binci-heeb\/\">I<\/a> not only share a friendship, but also a similar perspective on many exciting topics, as well as problems in the insurance industry. While we both have an Eastern European background &#8211; Mirela was born and raised in Romania &#8211; my mother came to Switzerland from Hungary in 1956 and always spoke Hungarian with my brother and me. Although I was born in Switzerland, I knew Hungary during the communist era and afterwards.  <\/p>\n\n<p>What separates Mirela and me is 12 years. While I&#8217;m one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Baby-Boomer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">baby boomers<\/a>, Mirela belongs to <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Generation_X\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Generation X<\/a>. So today we can learn and benefit from each other. For example, we are interested in the 50+ and 60+ generations, which have enormous potential when working with younger people. Another example is how women can get into top positions or that you can still be self-employed when you&#8217;re 60+.    <\/p>\n\n<p>We also regularly invite a guest to talk about certain topics. The podcasts are intended to encourage you to think about certain topics and talk about them yourself. Mirela and I have experienced a lot, both professionally and personally, including some good things, but also some very difficult ones. That is why we are convinced that we can provide in-depth knowledge on many topics in the insurance industry and beyond. We believe in the power of ideas to improve our world and in a people-centered economy.    <\/p>\n\n<p>I hope you will enjoy <em>thebrokernews <\/em>podcasts and subscribe to them.
